Take Me Home is an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch with one simple goal: to get you home.  When you start it, it gets your current location and then takes you to the Maps application, already filled out with a map to your home location. It stores your home location, so getting home is never more than a click away!  You can buy it on iTunes — Take Me Home is 99 cents on the App Store.

Roadmap:
This section will outline my plans for future versions of Take Me Home.  I’ll update the main blog when I release a new version, too.  x.x updates add new features, while x.x.x updates are bugfixes and minor revisions.  I don’t have any plans for a 2.0 yet, but I’m sure at some point we’ll get there.

  • Version 1.2 (Currently Under Development):
    • Ability to use a contact’s address to fill the address field (if it’s possible, I’ll have it linked to that contact, so you can change the contact’s address and Take Me Home will know)
  • Version 1.2.1:
    • Completely re-designed UI
  • 1.3+:
    • Localizations
